For some time now we've been talking with a whole bunch of wonderful people to be our first Patrons. Over the coming weeks we'll be sharing who they are, and then announcing a special end of year event to meet them too...

Last, but not least..
Rev. Brandan Robertson is a noted author, activist, and public theologian working at the intersections of spirituality, sexuality, and social renewal. Robertson is most known for his work as the “TikTok Pastor”, creating thousands of TikTok videos on inclusive theology which have garnered over 215k followers and 5 million views. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Sunnyside Reformed Church in Queens, New York City.

Dawn has degrees in Art and in Theology. She is a an artist, a story teller and a community engager. Dawn identifies as pansexual, and is mum to twins. Currently residing in London and works at Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church where she presided over the the first solemnised SSM in a UK Baptist Church. Dawn is also Tutor for LGBT+ Inclusion at Northern Baptist College, Manchester. Dawn has been involved in developing LGBT+ community projects like Soho Gathering and Christians at Pride. Her core belief is that God is Love and that where love is there also is God.
Our next Patron is...
Peter is Chief Executive of Family Links - The Centre for Emotional Health and has had a mixed career in business, education and the Church of England. He has been a Primary School Headteacher and prior to his current job was Archdeacon of the Isle of Wight. Peter is passionate about equity, diversity and inclusion and was Chair of OneBodyOneFaith for five years as well as holding other governance roles in education and the charity sector. He lives in Hampshire with his Partner, Mark, and their rescued dog, Lyra.
Our next Patron is...
Daniel Gerring is a lawyer and human rights activist. He has been a partner at leading law firm Travers Smith for more than a decade. He has combined this with a range of charity work, driven and supported by his Christian faith. Daniel chairs the board of Refugees at Home (which he helped set up in 2015) and has welcomed refugees as long-term guests in his home. He is also chair of Just Like Us, the UK’s LGBT+ charity for young people and is a trustee of GiveOut (supporting grass roots LGBT+ activists worldwide) and of YMCA City London & North. He is a Leadership Fellow of St George’s House, Windsor Castle. Daniel became a dad in 2022 – the best job in the world. He and his son are active in the life of St Giles Cripplegate in London and he passionately believes in OneBodyOneFaith’s mission to ensure that all LGBT+ people can likewise be fully included in the life and ministry of the Church.

Lauren Matthew is a gender-queer, faith activist living in Durban, South Africa. Lauren is an ordained minister in the Methodist Church of Southern Africa and is currently a PhD candidate and a lecturer of Religion at the School of Religion, Classics and Theology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. They are in a covenant-relationship with their partner Nokukhanya and parent to a fantastic, curious 9 year old. Lauren loves all kinds of music, the ocean, complicated board games, cooking and geeking out on theology (esp. the Wesley’s). They are also the current Chairperson of Inclusive and Affirming Ministries (IAM), a predominantly ecumenical Christian faith NGO that seeks to work toward the full recognition, celebration and participation of LGBTIQ+ people within faith communities across Africa.

Reverend Jide Macaulay is an openly gay British-Nigerian born in London, a Christian minister since 1998, Anglican Priest, inspirational speaker, author, poet, pastor and preacher, HIV Positive Activist, holds a degree in Law, masters degree in Theology and Post-graduate certificate in Pastoral Theology.
Jide focuses his ministry and work on inclusion and reconciliation of sexuality, spirituality and human rights. Chair INERELA+ Europe, Patron at ReportOut, Vice Chair One Voice Network, HIV - Mentor at Positive East, Volunteer Chaplain at Mildmay HIV Hospital and Volunteer Champion at Africa Children's Charity. Former Board of Trustee at Kaleidoscope Trust UK, Trustee of Global Interfaith Network. nOSCARS Award winner 2014, 2017, 2018. Nominee British LGBT Award 2021 - Top 10 Outstanding Contribution to LGBT+ Life, most recently became an HIV Mentor at George House Trust Manchester. In September 2006 Jide founded House Of Rainbow CIC, a faith based community that supported the journey of reconciliation for Black LGBTIQ Christians.
