National Leadership Programme

OneBodyOneFaith has been bold in drawing governmental and faith sector leadership attention to the impact of harm and loss of life to suicide that has followed LGBT+ exclusion from, or marginalisation within, communities of faith. It has become apparent in our private and public discussions with faith leaders that there is a significant national gap in the formation and development of leadership skills for faith leaders.

To meet this need, we are designing and leading an innovative reflective leadership programme for faith sector leaders in the UK, which provides opportunities for learning, reflection and growth for inter-denominational leaders. This learning opportunity is focussed on developing an understanding the impact of marginalisation and harm within faith contexts, and it is also focussed on action, identifying how each individual can contribute to the necessary changes that must be realised to safeguard and protect the most vulnerable in faith environments.
