We're delighted to have been nominated for a National Diversity Award

We are thrilled and delighted to have been nominated for a National Diversity Award - and now we need your help to life the title!

That's right - we don't normally have a competitive bone in our body, but we are really pleased to have been nominated as Community Group of the Year at the National Diversity Awards.  It's always nice to have your work recognised, but this one's a bit special. This is an opportunity for us to engage with people who are strongly committed to diversity, but who very often, we know from experience, simply aren't aware of the challenges, injustice and discrimination which LGBT Christians face.  It's an opportunity to get our message out to a wider audience, and of course to celebrate all we've achieved over the past 40 years.

And let's be honest - the fact that the awards ceremony is to be held in the wonderful Liverpool Cathedral is an added incentive - what better place?  And what better way to show the wider community that places of inclusion and welcome for LGBT people do exist within the churches, and that we're in a time of extraordinary and exciting change.

But we won't win without your vote, so will you help?  It will take less than a minute of your time.  Click here, and share with your friends and networks.  Voting closes on Friday 9 June - so make like it's Eurovision, and get voting!
